The Mount Olive Marauders baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Morris Hills Knights to 2 in the Marauders league win on Wednesday.
The Marauders now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Montville for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Mount Olive will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Morris Hills drops to 1-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to play the Devils in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Devils go into the test with a record of 0-2. Morris County Tech lost 13-8 in their recent non-league match against Boonton (Boonton, NJ)
