The Rogers Vikings baseball squad (Newport, RI), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI)

With the triumph, Scituate moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Central (Providence, RI) to confront the Knights in a Division 2 contest on Friday, April 4. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Central won 13-1 in their recent league contest against Prout (Wakefield, RI)

The Vikings now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Country Day for a non-league contest on Friday, April 4. Rogers will confront a Knights squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
