The West Greene Buffaloes baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host South Greene Rebels to 2 in the Buffaloes league win on Wednesday.
The Buffaloes now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gatlinburg-Pittman for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. West Greene will play a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-10.
With the defeat, South Greene drops to 2-14 on the year. The Rebels host North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to play the Huskies in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 7-4. North Greene lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against West Greene (Mosheim, TN)
