In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Wheatland Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Center Cougars.

The Pirates (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Oakmont beat Marysville (Marysville, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, April 7. Center will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
