The East Providence Townies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Cranston West Falcons to 1 in the Townies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Townies now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Classical for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 3. East Providence will clash with a Purple team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Purple record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Cranston West drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league outing on Friday, April 4.
