In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Westerly Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Johnston Panthers.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Hope beat North Providence (North Providence, RI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Friday, April 4. Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Villa Novans come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
