Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting San Diego Academy Cavaliers (National City, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Steele Canyon improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to encounter the Norsemen in a Grossmont Valley test on Thursday, April 3. The Norsemen go into the test with a record of 7-9. Valhalla won 3-1 in their recent league test against West Hills (Santee, CA)

The Cavaliers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escondido Adventist Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. San Diego Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-6.
