Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) and the host Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), observed Van Nuys's volleyball team hold off Sylmar by a count of 3-2.

The Wolves (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons enter the Valley Mission contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Panorama got by Reseda (Reseda, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans meet the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a Valley Mission contest, on Friday, April 4. Sylmar will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA).
