In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Aspen Skiers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-2 triumph over the Battle Mountain Huskies.

The Skiers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Grand Junction was overwhelmed by Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. Battle Mountain will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Sailors go into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Summit (Frisco, CO).
