North Carolina High School Soccer - Currituck County held off by First Flight

In Wednesday's league contest, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) soccer team edged the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Nighthawks battle the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Thursday, April 3. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 9-0 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).

The Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Great Bridge held off Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA), 5-1, in a non-league contest.
