New Mexico High School Baseball - Centennial edges Alamogordo

The Centennial Hawks baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Alamogordo Tigers to 3 in the Hawks non-league win on Wednesday.
The Hawks now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mayfield for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Centennial will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
With the defeat, Alamogordo drops to 0-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to clash with the Knights in a test on Monday, April 7. The Knights go into the test with a record of 7-3. Organ Mountain won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
