California High School Baseball - Cardinal Newman edges Rancho Cotate

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA) and the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), saw Cardinal Newman's baseball team gain a win over Rancho Cotate by a tally of 3-1.

The Cardinals (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Pumas enter the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Maria Carrillo by Ukiah (Ukiah, CA), 11-2, in a league battle.
