In Wednesday's league bout, the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) baseball squad nipped the visiting Troy Warriors (Fullerton, CA), by a score of 3-2.
Next up, the Aztecs encounter the Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) in a bout, on Friday, April 4. Esperanza will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Bingham (South Jordan, UT).
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA). The Lancers enter the bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Sunny Hills was nudged by Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA), 11-5, in a non-league bout.
