New Mexico High School Baseball - Farmington defeats Rio Rancho

The Farmington Scorpions baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Rio Rancho Rams to 8 in the Scorpions league win on Wednesday.
The Scorpions now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cleveland for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. Farmington will play a Storm team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, Rio Rancho drops to 9-4 on the year. The Rams host Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 7-4. Volcano Vista won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
