Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Bishop Ireton overwhelms Sidwell Friends

Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the host Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), witnessed Bishop Ireton's lacrosse squad top Sidwell Friends by a count of 13-4.
The Cardinals (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles enter the Washington Catholic test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Gonzaga was overwhelmed by Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD), 4-2, in a non-league test.
Next, the Quakers battle the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 5. Sidwell Friends will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Generals enter the test with a 5-1 record after their 16-3 league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
