Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 18-3 in a league game.

With the victory, Cornerstone Charter advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, April 4. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 4-7. Western Guilford won 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)

The Black Knights now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Stokes for a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont game on Monday, April 7. North Davidson will play a Wildcats team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-4.
