The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) and the visiting Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), observed Pen Argyl's softball team notch a victory over Bangor by a final score of 8-0.

The Green Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Southern Lehigh gained a win over Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 14-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Slaters battle the Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Bangor will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 6-4 league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA).
