In Wednesday's non-league test, the Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH), by a tally of 24-23.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin test, on Wednesday, April 9. Hawken will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Arcs (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lakeside was nudged by Kirtland (Kirtland, OH), 14-4, in a non-league test.
