The Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS) softball routed the visiting Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS), 23-13 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charleston for a 2A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, April 8.
With the loss, Charleston moves to 1-10 on the season. The Tigers host O'Bannon (Greenville, MS) to confront the Greenwaves in a 2A Region 3 match on Thursday, April 3. The Greenwaves come into the match with a record of 4-5. O'Bannon lost 14-13 in their recent non-league match against Leland (Leland, MS)
