In Wednesday's league match, the host Newman Greenies softball team scored a nice 21-0 win over the Cohen Green Hornets.

The Greenies (7-7) will now prepare for their match against St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A District 10 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, St. Katharine Drexel was routed by Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA), 18-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Green Hornets confront the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a 2A District 10 match, on Thursday, April 3. Cohen will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 24-14 non-league loss to Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA).
