The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA), observed King Philip Regional's softball team prevail over Franklin by a tally of 9-1.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Bridgewater-Raynham knocked off Plymouth North (Plymouth, MA), 15-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Hopkinton Hillers (Hopkinton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 5. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Hillers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MA).
