Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL), 7-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Helena improves its record to 15-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Calera (Calera, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 4. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-14. Calera lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL)

The Panthers now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a non-league game on Monday, April 7. Pelham will face a Spartans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-17.
