The Huntingtown Hurricanes softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Lackey Chargers to 0 in the Hurricanes league win on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, April 4. Huntingtown will confront a Cougars team coming off a 16-6 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Lackey moves to 1-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to confront the Patriots in a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, April 4. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Northern won 22-0 in their recent league battle against Westlake (Waldorf, MD)
