In Wednesday's league test, the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Indians meet the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 test, on Friday, April 4. Ysleta will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 9-12 record after their 15-0 league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX).

The Rockets (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region I District 1 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Bowie prevailed over Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy (El Paso, TX), 15-13, in a league test.
