Texas High School Softball - Jay gets by Southside

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX), observed Jay's softball team get by Southside by a tally of 2-1.

The Mustangs (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Bobcats go into the 5A Region IV District 28 bout with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, South San Antonio tipped Southwest (San Antonio, TX), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 bout, on Thursday, April 10. Southside will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 16-1 league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX).
