The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC) and the host KIPP College Prep Panthers (Washington, DC), observed Washington Latin Public Charter School's softball team notch a victory over KIPP College Prep by a tally of 34-14.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Jackson-Reed gained a win over Bell (Washington, DC), 17-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a DCPCSAA bout, on Monday, April 7. KIPP College Prep will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
