Massachusetts High School Softball - Oakmont Regional held off by Lunenburg

The Lunenburg Blue Knights got by the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Blue Knights meet the Littleton Tigers (Littleton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Lunenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Westford Academy (Westford, MA).

The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Quabbin Regional (Barre, MA). The Panthers go into the Midland-Wachusett C challenge with a 0-0 record.
