The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the West Boylston Lions (West Boylston, MA) and the visiting Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA), observed West Boylston's softball team get by Murdock by a tally of 8-4.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Maynard (Maynard, MA). The Tigers go into the Midland-Wachusett D bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Maynard tipped Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA), 25-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Bromfield Trojans (Harvard, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Murdock will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Gardner (Gardner, MA).
