West Virginia High School Softball - Nitro bounces St. Joseph Central

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) and the host St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), observed Nitro's softball team prevail over St. Joseph Central by a tally of 13-3.
The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers go into the Cardinal bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Wayne was routed by Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV), 10-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Irish clash with the Green Bobcats (Franklin Furnace, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. St. Joseph Central will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Clay (Portsmouth, OH).
