The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) and the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD), observed Paul VI's softball team prevail over The Academy of the Holy Cross by a tally of 17-1.

The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals go into the Washington Catholic bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Bishop Ireton knocked off Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA), 9-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tartans clash with the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Monday, April 7. The Academy of the Holy Cross will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 11-4 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
