California High School Softball - Rio Americano knocked off by Vista del Lago

The Vista del Lago Eagles overwhelmed the host Rio Americano Raiders softball squad by a count of 17-9 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference challenge, on Friday, April 4. Vista del Lago will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).

The Raiders (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Timberwolves go into the Capital Valley Conference challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodcreek toppled East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
