The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) and the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA), observed Wilson Memorial's softball team get by Spotswood by a tally of 7-3.

The Green Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the Shenandoah bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Waynesboro was routed by Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 9-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trailblazers clash with the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a Valley bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Spotswood will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
