Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA), 8-4 in a league game.

The Royals (20-4) will now prepare for their game against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Gryphons go into the A D1 Region 2 game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Academy for Classical Education was overwhelmed by Veterans (Kathleen, GA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

The Fighting Irish (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers come into the A D1 Region 2 outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, Central was overwhelmed by Jefferson County (Louisville, GA), 16-1, in a league outing.
