Texas High School Baseball - Saginaw nips Brewer

April 2, 2026: Saginaw, TX 76131

The Saginaw Rough Riders baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Brewer Bears to 4 in the Rough Riders league win on Thursday.

The Rough Riders now own a 7-18 record. They take the field next when they host Aledo for a 5A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, April 7. Saginaw will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 23-4.

With the defeat, Brewer drops to 12-8 on the year. The Bears host North Side (Fort Worth, TX) to clash with the Steers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 4. The Steers go into the challenge with a record of 13-14. North Side won 16-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX)
