The Halstead Dragons baseball squad (Halstead, KS), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Hesston Swathers (Hesston, KS)

With the triumph, Hesston moves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Swathers travel to Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS) to face the Vikings in a Central Kansas game on Tuesday, April 7. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 1-1. Smoky Valley lost 13-11 in their recent league game against Nickerson (Nickerson, KS)

Next, the Dragons face the Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS) in a Central Kansas game, on Tuesday, April 7. Halstead will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 13-11 league win over Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS).
