North Carolina High School Baseball - Independence loses to Palisades

The Palisades Pumas the visiting Independence Patriots baseball squad by a score of 16-11 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Pumas encounter the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 4. Palisades will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Independence drops to 7-10 on the year. The Patriots travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A test on Tuesday, April 14. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 6-8. North Mecklenburg lost 23-22 in their recent non-league test against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
