California High School Softball - Palma bested by Salinas

The Salinas Cowboys triumphed over the host Palma Chieftains softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 4. Salinas will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 16-0 league win over St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).

The Chieftains (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Cowboys enter the battle with a 10-2 record.
