In Thursday's league test, the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), by a tally of 14-3.

Next, the Vikings clash with the St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 6. Airline will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 17-9 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA).

The Yellow Jackets (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Ebarb (Noble, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Ebarb prevailed over Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA), 11-1, in a league test.
