Louisiana High School Softball - DeQuincy bounces Pickering

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) and the host Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), observed DeQuincy's softball team prevail over Pickering by a tally of 20-1.

The Tigers (17-10) will now prepare for their bout against Vinton (Vinton, LA). The Lions go into the 2A District 4 bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Vinton was routed by East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA), 16-6, in a league contest.

The Red Devils now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Evans for a non-league contest on Monday, April 6. Pickering will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
