Arizona High School Softball - Independence bounces Washington

April 2, 2026: Glendale, AZ 85303

In Thursday's league match, the host Independence Patriots softball team scored a nice 12-3 win over the Washington Rams.

The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their match against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Lobos enter the 5A Central Valley game with a 5-9 record.

The Rams now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Copper Canyon for a 5A Central Valley game on Monday, April 6. Washington will play a Aztecs squad coming off a 17-10 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 3-9.
