The Pope Greyhounds baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Marist War Eagles to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds (21-6) will now prepare for their match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAAAA Region 6 match with a 10-16 record. In their last match, Sprayberry by Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 9-3, in a league match.
The War Eagles (21-8) will now prepare for their match against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines go into the AAAA Region 6 match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Miller Grove by Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA), 17-2, in a league match.
