Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA), 21-11 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alhambra for a Diablo - Foothill challenge on Thursday, April 22. Benicia will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Granada (Livermore, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Berean Christian falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA) to battle the Ugly Eagles in a Diablo - Foothill challenge on Thursday, April 22. The Ugly Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Clayton Valley Charter won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA)
