The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Brentwood War Eagles to 8 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars go into the GISA AA Region 4 match with a 15-2 record. In their last match, Thomas Jefferson Academy tipped Gatewood (Eatonton, GA), 6-4, in a league match.
The War Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA). The Buccaneers go into the GISA AA Region 4 match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Briarwood Academy tipped John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA), 9-1, in a league match.
