In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Emerald Vikings baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Ninety Six Wildcats.
The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the AAA Region 3 game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Union County by Chapman (Inman, SC), 5-0, in a league game.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Dixie (Due West, SC). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 13-6 record. In their last game, Dixie tipped Emerald (Greenwood, SC), 11-7, in a non-league game.
