The Greater Latrobe Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Gateway Gators to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators go into the WPIAL 5A 1 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Gateway was overwhelmed by Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 14-4, in a non-league match.
The Gators (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats go into the WPIAL 5A 3 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Greater Latrobe edged Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), 4-3, in a league match.
