The Northport Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Selkirk Rangers to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Cusick (Cusick, WA). The Panthers go into the 1B Northeast match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Cusick was overwhelmed by Curlew (Curlew, WA), 25-1, in a league match.
The Rangers (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Republic (Republic, WA). The Tigers go into the 1B Northeast match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Republic was overwhelmed by Odessa (Odessa, WA), 24-3, in a league match.
