California High School Volleyball - Rio Mesa edged by Oxnard

The Oxnard Yellowjackets got by the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans volleyball team by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Yellowjackets (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Tritons enter the Pacific View challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Pacifica nipped Buena (Ventura, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) in a Pacific View challenge, on Thursday, April 21. Rio Mesa will attempt to move on its 11-13 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Ventura (Ventura, CA).
