Illinois High School Softball - Downers Grove North can't hold off Lyons

The Lyons Lions softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans to 8 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Lyons moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to clash with the Trojans in a game on Friday, May 6. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 4-2.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) in a game, on Thursday, April 21. Downers Grove North will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
