New York High School Lacrosse - Akron bounces Medina

The Akron Tigers triumphed over the host Medina Mustangs lacrosse team by a score of 20-4 in Wednesday's league match.

With the win, Akron upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 22. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Bishop Timon-St. Jude lost 6-5 in their recent league contest against Gow (South Wales, NY)

The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Island for a non-league match on Saturday, April 23. Medina will play a Vikings team coming off a 13-7 league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
