Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
The Mavericks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league battle on Monday, April 25. Milford will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Division 1 District 3 battle, on Monday, April 25. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
